About

Arturo Velázquez Hernández (1990) is a former clinical-community psychologist born in Mexico City, currently based in Quintana Roo, Mexico. He intends to contribute to the understanding of the mental functioning of the human being under stressful situations by portraying from a mental-health-oriented perspective, frequently conjugating symbolism, archive, and segments of psychological projective tests along candid and studio photographs.

 

Besides developing personal projects, Arturo has found himself portraying communities affected by natural phenomena, and different urban contexts, mainly in Mexico.
